When it comes to meals, we don’t like to play favorites, but we do have a particularly soft spot for breakfast. Especially a good summer breakfast. And what says summer more than a smoothie? But this isn’t just your typical green smoothie. Don’t get us wrong, we love a good green smoothie, but sometimes we’re in the mood for something a little more decadent. Cue, the Cherry Ripe Smoothie… the summer breakfast we currently have on high rotation.
Cherry Ripe Smoothie
½ cup frozen cherries
3 tbs Greek Yoghurt
100ml Coconut Water
30g Protein Powder
1 tbs cocoa powder
½ tsp Vanilla Extract
5g Coconut Flakes
Method
Blend ingredients (reserving a few coconut flakes to serve) until smooth
Top with coconut flakes and fresh cherry to serve
